ENCHANTED ROCK SUMMIT TRAIL TOURS, Spring 2008

Take a guided tour to the Summit of Enchanted Rock for a spectacular 360 degree view of the park and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. Standing on top of the Main Dome you will be on the edge of the giant Central Texas pink granite batholith. You will see limestone hills to one side and pink granite formations in another direction. Our trained experienced tour guide will stop along the trail to point out interesting and informative aspects of Enchanted Rock. You will discover what makes the rock 'enchanted'. Be sure to wear good hiking shoes, sunscreen, a hat and bring water. We will have brochures available for $1. Meet at the Gazebo at 9:00 am and allow 1 � to 2 hours for the complete tour. Scheduled tours are the third Saturday of the month February, March, April, May, September, October, November, and December. Donations will be accepted to allow this program to operate.
