We don’t have a lot of volunteer opportunities, but this Thursday, October 27, we are going to pick up the trash one mile either side of the park entrance on FM 965. We will meet at the parking lot just inside the gate at 8:30 and will provide equipment necessary. This is quite a bit more fun than it might appear! With limited volunteer opportunities, what do we do? We raise money for projects in the park – trails, water catchment, the gate, the firewater tank, recycling containers, low-flow water fixtures, bottle refilling stations, etc. We also do some campfire programs and the annual Enchanted Rock Star Fest.
